During the pandemic, I picked up a paint brush for the first time (since art class in grade school). Since, I have been enjoying the pleasure of painting very much (well most of the time).
I paint the unseen layers landscapes & florals & motifs – as mirrors of what may lie beneath the surface. With mixed media such as, collage, acrylics & textures, I weave fragments into form, inviting the hidden to emerge & the quiet to be felt. I’m grateful to have become a hobbyist painter at this stage of my life.
