Painting Demonstration by Renowned Canadian Landscape Artist Gordon Harrison

On September 21, the Artists of Stonebridge and their guests enjoyed a presentation and painting demonstration by renowned Canadian landscape artist Gordon Harrison. This was a highly anticipated event that had been delayed by Covid and took over two years to come to fruition. However, it turned out to be an incredible evening that was certainly worth waiting for. 

Gordon began by describing his art journey, from his formative childhood in the Laurentians to his rediscovery of painting later in life and his eventual embrace of art as a full-time pursuit. Gordon then demonstrated his unique method of painting, all the while answering many questions from the audience. The event finished with cookies and refreshments. We are extremely grateful to Gordon for sharing his time and his expertise with us during this fantastic event!
