Elisabeth relocated to Ottawa, Ontario in 2008 from Alberta, and began her artistic journey in 2019 after a decade of service with the Canadian Armed Forces. With a foundational interest in drawing and photography, she naturally transitioned into painting with acrylics and found it to be a rewarding pastime.

Inspired by the serene beauty of landscapes, the movement of trees, and the calming presence of water, Elisabeth pours her passion into creating evocative pieces that capture the natural world. She also created a black and white series of figurative works titled “Ebony Beach”. Her original artworks have found homes in Canada, USA, Australia and the Netherlands.

Elisabeth is grateful for the community and the profound friendships within the Artists of Stonebridge, a place where she can share her love of art. She and her husband and three children enjoy being part of the Barrhaven Community.
