Elisabeth Standish grew up in beautiful Alberta and moved to Ontario in 2007.  After dedicating a decade of service with the Canadian Armed Forces and raising children, she picked up a paintbrush in 2019 while in Australia. Painting became a way to explore her love of colour, abstract and landscapes, and a way to share that love with her friends.

Elisabeth draws inspiration from the poetic movement of trees and serenity of water.  She pours her passion into creating evocative pieces that capture the natural world. 

Her original artworks have found homes in Canada, USA, Australia and the Netherlands.
